What are cookies?

Cookies are files stored on your computer with bits of information that can be used to save passwords, user setting, or personal information for use on web sites.

Why do I need to enable cookies to use the VCC?

When you log into the VCC we generate a random number that is unique to you and save it in a cookie on your computer. We use the random number in the cookie to retreive and save your information on our server. In order for us to do this, you will have to have cookies enabled. When you log out or close your browser window, the cookie stored on your computer is deleted to ensure privacy.

How do I enable cookies on my computer?

To enable cookies in Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options in the menu and click on the Privacy tab. You can move the slider up and down to change your settings. You will not be able to log into the VCC with a setting higher than Medium High. If you are unsure how to set this, click on the Default Settings button and OK. This should enable you to log in to the VCC.

I still cannot log in!
